About Ted Calvert

I served for 8 1/2 years in the Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Radar Repair Technician and a Medical Technologist. During an almost 14 year break in service I owned and operated my own clinical medical lab and set up and maintained three other labs, while serving as a Youth Minister at several different churches. In addition to my labs, I worked as needed in various rural hospitals in West Texas, and two hospitals in Abilene, Texas. I also had the opportunity to sell new and used vehicles, which was a fantastic experience. After my father passed away I felt God's calling back to the military, where I served as a Clinical Lab Officer and Company Commander. Managing Army hospital labs was a blessing because I took part in providing care for the finest patients in the world, the men and women who serve our country, their families, and retirees. Since retiring from the Army I have been a fulltime seminary student at Liberty University, Rawlings School of Divinity. Upon graduation in December 2020, I look forward toward responding faithfully to God's calling upon my life to train and equip people to love God, love people, and join together with other believers to fulfill the Great Commission.
