About Ted D Morgan

With over 20 years experience as a trial lawyer, Ted Morgan Law practices in a wide range of areas that include personal bodily injury, wrongful death, DUI defense, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and catastrophic bodily injuries. With a background as CPA, we counsel a variety of businesses involved in disputes with other businesses. After graduating with Honors from the prestigious UGA, Terry College of Business, J.M. Tull School of Accounting in 1985, Ted worked for "Big 8" Arthur Andersen in Atlanta. In 1990, Ted returned to law school at Mercer University. Ted's legal career began at Hatcher, Stubbs in Columbus where he defended a variety of claims for bodily injury, employment and general liability defense. Ted's legal experience is predominately in the courtroom litigating civil claims and business litigation with a focus on representing victims of human pain and serious bodily injury from car accidents, tractor trailer collisions, premises liability, and railroad worker compensation under the FELA. Ted has handled health, life and disability insurance claims and defense, employment claims and defense, commercial claims and complex business litigation. The Small-Business practice includes counseling for closely held businesses; S Corps and LLCs; commercial leases; employment contracts, non-competes, and employment law issues. We have represented a wide range of small businesses in various industries, to include real estate developers and builders, commercial contractors and builders, wholesale gasoline distributors, hotel operators, and various small business retailers. More recently, we have developed a niche for representation of persons arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and/or Drugs (DUI/DWI).
