Re: Ted Dissinger/ Background overview I have in excess of 25 years of experience in retail and wholesale within the footwear industry, in the US and international markets. Previously, I was President./CEO of three footwear companies simultaneously, as well as Corporate VP of Purchasing. for 6 divisions. As a vertical organization, I managed separate P&L’s and divisional structures. My direct reports included 2 CFO’s, 2 VP’s of Manufacturing, 2 Product Managers, 2 NSM's, Marketing Manager, and 8 Purchasing Agents from six different divisions. The employee base of the divisions exceeded which included 72 direct account managers, 4 RSM's, The combined annual revenue of the divisions ranged from 85 M and 95 M. As Corporate VP, I managed assets in excess of 200 M and developed, negotiated, and managed all outsourcing contracts in the following areas: Asia, Latin America, Europe, Mexico, Canada, India, and the US. Over a 25 year. period, I had opened several retail stores.I developed and managed numerous licensing, programs including the initial Harley David program and NASCAR. I co-designed and developed a line of apparel. with a large NE based retailer Most recently, I started a division in 2002 for Skecher’s, and generated in excess of 100 MM in 3 1/2 yrs. by identifying and developing new global business opportunties that enabled my sales team to open 775 new accounts. Through the years, I’ve worked with numerous talented product teams in developing proprietary components and product lines In the different capacities that I’ve held, I’ve worked with hundreds of national and international retailers on their assortments, merchandising plans, marketing initiatives, and all areas of visual merchandising. I have senior level experience in Finance (P&L responsibilities), Asset Management, Strategic Planning, New Business Development, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development, Licensing, Sales Administration, Global Sourcing, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Brand Management, Operations, Forecasting, HR, Engineering, and Logistics.
