I desire to live by God's grace which came to us through Jesus Christ, the man who was God and came to this earth to bear the penalty for our sins. Jesus took the punishment which we rightly deserve for our sins so God can and will forgive anyone who calls to Him, in Jesus'​ name. The reason I believe this is: Jesus Christ suffered for our sins, not His own because He had none. He was despised and rejected based on no evidence of wrong doing. His miracles proved He was God. He took the punishment for our sins and rose again from the dead because He had no sins to keep Him dead. God was very loving in this because He desired to have an unbroken, eternal relationship with us. And He did this through giving Jesus Christ! The only time for one to be forgiven is now. This is a warning to heed because the righteous punishment for sins is eternal, in the lake which burns with fire. Jesus is truly worthy of total acceptance- Jesus demonstrated that he was without sin while here on earth (the pure truth)- Jesus met God's perfect righteousness as seen in His 10 commandments for example - I am a sinner and have broken God's law (the 10 commandments)- God personally forgave me of my sin when I accepted Christ's sacrifice - I am now a child of God - God's Holy Spirit lives in me and glorifies God and His Son Jesus Christ through me Life is not about the abundance of one's possessions. Whether it is power, money, or status - our primary objective is to have a relationship with God who has our best interests in mind. Life is not about self but about God and Him working through us. I know Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I worship Him for His extreme degree of love towards me. I did not deserve these spiritual riches because I am a sinner. But in His love He gave Himself for me to be redeemed and purchased me out of the slave-market of sin. You have this opportunity as well. The first step is to admit that you are utterly sinful based on God's standard of right living, the 10 commandments. Once you have acknowledged your sin and recognize that you are utterly broken without the ability to redeem yourself based on God's requirements, then you can be saved. To be saved from the consequences of our sin and brokenness, we must personally believe that Jesus himself took the sin we committed upon Himself and died for it in order to grant us peace with God and everlasting life. If you receive or ask Jesus Christ to save you, as in pray to God and ask Him, you will be saved and adopted into His family.
