Ted has over a decade of experience in the IT industry with hands on experience in all areas of software development across a wide range of technologies. Ted started his career delivering high performance, low latency software for investment banks, telecommunications companies and government agencies where the core principles of speed, memory management and security is crucial. With a solid foundation and proven ability to learn things quickly, Ted rapidly expanded his area of expertise into native mobile programming and web development for the enterprise. Ted is passionate about getting things done while balancing quality against the realities of business constraints in order to deliver value for clients. Ted has served as Tech Lead and Lead developer for multiple projects. Being a natural problem solver, he does not shy away from contributing across perceived boundaries of roles and responsibilities when needed to ensure successful project delivery. Ted holds a Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Auckland, NZ.
