About Ted Nolan

Ted Nolan is the Founder of BlueSkyRisk, LLC. Mr. Nolan directs the strategic development and implementation of BlueSkyRisk’s growth initiatives, professional services, and client relationships. He has focused on underwriting, consulting, and managing within the structure of Managing General Agents, Managing General Underwriters, and Program Administrators. Mr. Nolan previously served as President of OnPoint Underwriting, a Managing General Agent. OnPoint Underwriting is a Program-Focused insurance Provider specializing in the industry verticals of Healthcare, Energy, Hospitality, Gaming, and Real Estate. Before joining OnPoint Underwriting, he served as vice president of Operations for Medical Group Insurance Services (MGIS), Inc, which provides specialized insurance products and services to physicians and their advisors. Additionally, Mr. Nolan worked as an Underwriter for Sherwood Insurance Services, now Swett & Crawford, and Aon Risk Services, both based in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Nolan holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He is a member of the Bar in the State of Utah.
