About Ted Petkos

I am an energetic, hard-working individual with a passion for financial markets and a zest for new challenges and experiences. I've graduated with Honours in Commerce through the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and have four years of experience in the financial sector. I currently hold the position of Branch Manager at Scotiabank, where I lead a team of 15, with a main focus on internal team development, and customer experience. Growing up immersed in the environment of a successful family business in Hamilton, Ontario has taught me the importance and value of dedication, patience, and perseverance in any position you hold. It is the values from these life experiences at a young age that have not only created a foundation for me as an individual, but it has also helped propel me to achieve greater successes and accomplishments. Past experiences have helped me to develop strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. I've had the privilege in organizing and leading the largest organized student conference at McMaster University, editing final drafts of financial reporting to shareholders for a public corporation, as well as promoting and volunteering for fundraisers in children's health, education programs, and community programs across Hamilton and southwestern Ontario.
