My professional career has focused on MVS, OS/390, z/OS system level software. While at IBM I have specialized in RACF and how it impacts other major subsystems. My role has been as a technical leader in migrating CA-ACF2 and CA-TSS to RACF. I have had to find solutions to unique interface issues relating to zOS/JES2/CICS/IMS/DB2 and many others. This frequently has involved writing or re-writing exit code for these sub-systems and RACF. In addition I have become accomplished at doing presentations to potential migration customers and potential customers of IBM’s zSecure product suite. I was on the IBM Quality Assurance team when IBM was purchasing Consul (owner of the zSecure software suite) and wrote a letter of recommendation to the VP in charge of acquiring the Consul company. I have deep technical skills in zOS and also proficient at engaging potential customers and management to help them understand the details of how a technical solution will impact their business. Specialties: Assembler Coding. RACF, CICS, zOS, IMS and JES2 internals and interfaces.
