About Tedd Drummond

I am the IT Director for the BC Mail Plus branch of the Procurement and Supply Division of Citizens’ Services, part of the Government of British Columbia. My area, Mail, Payment and Document Processing (MPDP) receives snail mail twice a day, digitizes everything we receive and work with different Ministries to electronically process paper applications, deposit cheques and more for their service. We bridge the gap to support British Columbians who have challenges with technology. Basically, my IT team supports an Operations team of highly trained professionals who are using the latest tech to support some Government Services. We don't support them all at the moment but we're looking to grow! Between April and October, we've handled over pieces of mail. Some of our partner Internally are Ministry of Finance; Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations; Social Development and Poverty Reduction; and externally, Canada Post and Royal Bank. And, I am proud to add that I've lead my team to a Top Work Unit award within the BC Government. My staff employment and engagement satisfaction scores are top within our Division.
