About Tedd Wiessner

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a PhD in Chemistry. My areas of focus spread over organometallics, catalysis, organic and polymer chemistries. I have ~10 years of experience working within chemistry labs, where I have gained experience working with numerous characterization methods including NMR, IR, LCMS, GCMS, and HPLC. I am interested in working in and fostering an environment focused on safety and efficiency. As a graduate student I was a member of the chemistry department's safety committee and served as our labs safety officer, where I was in charge of providing input and developing best practices and procedures, leading safety inspections and helping with the department's safety training. In my current role at, WuXi AppTec in Saint Paul, MN, I work in extractables and leachables analysis and am also a member of the safety committee.
