About Teddy Warner
Dr. Teddy Warner is a psychologist with extensive research, teaching, ethics & clinical experience. He is an expert in social and organizational behavior, as well as in research design, both quantitative & qualitative research methods, multivariate statistics, psychometrics, instrument development & survey methods, and data analysis, psychology and the law, as well as bioethics and research ethics. He is a member of the Kennedy Institute for Ethics at Georgetown University, where he studied bioethics and research ethics. He served as an Ethicist for the University of New Mexico's NIH-funded Clinical Translational Science Center for years, and he served on the Faculty Ethics and Advisory Committee for UNM, as well as on the School of Medicine''s Scientific Advisory Council. He has served over 30 years on Institutional Review Boards at 4 institutions, including 17 years at UNM. In partial retirement, he continues to chair IRB committees in 2 UNM departments. He has taught statistics and research methods extensively in the Dept of Psychology at UNM. where he has also taught seminars in political psychology and in the psychology of terrorism. He continues to teach survey methods and psychometrics in the School of Medicine at UNM. He has a lengthy history of grant writing and conducting a variety of NIH funded behavioral and clinical research studies over the past 30 years, having served as an investigator on over $20 million dollars of direct cost grant funded studies. He continues to provide consultation to faculty, staff, and students, as well as outside entities, regarding his various areas of expertise. He has a long history of consultation across a variety of settings outside universities from legal teams to research teams to various private, corporate and organization clients.
