About Tedi Ramaj

Manager, Model Development (IRM) at Scotiabank. After many years of experience as an applied mathematician, I am making the transition into credit risk modelling; an exciting new avenue for applying my mathematical, statistical, and computational skills. As a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (LIAM) at York University, I developed and analyzed mathematical models of infectious disease dynamics and interventions. I have over five years of research experience in mathematical biology, working on topics such as oncolytic virotherapy, infectious disease transmission, and economic impact of said infectious diseases. I have also taught and tutored undergraduate students in various mathematics courses, creating and grading assignments and exams. My core competencies include mathematical modeling, analysis, simulation, and communication, as well as collaboration and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about using mathematics to understand and address real-world challenges.
