Dr Tee O'Neill's book Writing the BioDrama, an adaptation of her PhD thesis is published by Endeavor Literary Press and is now an intense immerse online course. Writing the Biodrama. https://tee-s-school-4985.thinkific.com/courses/writing-the-biodrama Her latest play 'Yellingbo' was performed in a well received sell-out season at La Mama Theatre. She is performed in her own biodrama on Edna Walling in a heritage listed garden at Sherbrooke. Her writing has been awarded the Edward Albee Script Award, RE Ross Trust Playwright's Award, the New York Siena College International Play Award and an International Residency at the Royal Court Theatre in London. She has been the recipient of a 2009 & 2005 nomination for the Griffin Award, 2006 commendation for the Louis Esson Prize, a 2006 nomination for the NSW Premier's Award, 2012 WA Premier's Award, 2007 AWGIE award and the ANPC/New Dramatists Award in NYC, and nominated twice for the Patrick White Play Award as well as the Wal Cherry Award and Corcadorca Play of the Year in Ireland. She has received writing grants from the Australia Council and Arts Victoria, Sidney Myer Fund, Ian Potter Foundation. She has been an Affiliate Writer for the Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC) and been produced and commissioned by Playbox and Theatre @ Risk, Sydney Theatre Company and New York University. Her plays include The Dogs Play (published by Currency Press) The Last Antigone (Dunedin Arts Festival) Madagascar (shortlisted for Corkadorka Award) Stalking Matilda (theatre@risk)Homage to Rembrandt (MTC) A Few Roos Loose in the Top Paddock (Playbox) Best Possible World ( Patrick White Shortlist) Barassi (VCE Schools List and National tour) She is currently working on two commissions. She has been a lecturer in script writing for thirteen years including three years at the New York University (School of TISCH) In 2008 she was the William Evans Fellow in Playwriting at Otago University New Zealand and playwright in residence in 2009 for the National University of Singapore.
