I love HR.(Wait, did that say he LOVES HR?) Yes! Ever since I was grinding it out as a General Manager for Wendy's, I always wanted to be on the other side of the trenches: the corporate offices, a nice desk, window with a view.you know the deal. More than that, though - I WANTED to be in HR specifically. Why? Because I saw HR as the employee's advocate. Their champion. That person in their corner, helping them navigate the struggles of their working life. Like Captain America, but in a desk. Turns out, nearly two decades later - I still feel that way. I have been refined in the fires of restaurant management, customer service, and recruiting - all the while obtaining heroic levels of patience, diligence, follow-through, and compassion. And now I get to turn around and "wield the shield"- I get to BE the HR hero I always looked up to. So if you need guidance in the HR space, I'd love to be "that guy"! And yes -"I could do this all day"!
