About Teemu Julkunen

Experienced professional in data warehousing and advanced data architecture, I specialize in designing and implementing robust data solutions, with a strong focus on Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse frameworks. My expertise extends to data modeling, where I take pride in crafting scalable, efficient models that align with business needs and support data-driven decision-making. I have a deep understanding of dimensional data modeling and base knowlidge in Data Vault methodologies, leveraging them to build flexible, high-performance systems that accommodate evolving business requirements. My strategic thinking allows me to see the big picture, ensuring that data architectures not only meet current needs but also anticipate future growth and challenges. While I bring a strategic mindset to all my projects, I am equally comfortable rolling up my sleeves and executing tasks myself, whether it’s designing data models or managing implementation. This hands-on approach ensures that I maintain a close connection to the technical side of projects while always keeping an eye on the long-term objectives. Statistical methods- Multivariate Statistical Analysis (e.g. PCA, ICA, FA, clustering)- Spatial analysis (e.g. Kriging and conditonal simulation)- Time series analysis (e.g. State-space models and ARIMA)- Causal inference and do-calculus - Generalized linear models - Bayes inference and MCMC - Linear/non-linear programming Toolbox- Azure, Fabric, Power BI - Python, R - SQL - HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Django - GIT, Docker - LATEX,(R-)Markdown Blog: https://medium.com/@julkunen.teemu
