My passion lies in product and content marketing, UX writing, and editing. I’m all about developing punchy messaging that connects with target audiences, addresses their pains, and proves value. I love to make copy clearer, more accessible, and more inclusive while improving conversions. Most days, you’ll find me- Developing messaging and positioning and product marketing plans- Partnering cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing to promote our products and feaures- Writing web pages, flyers, and marketing collateral, and managing their design and delivery- Writing press releases, nurture campaigns, emails, and social posts- Providing editorial, copywriting, and UX writing services as a champion for the Octopus voice, the owner of the Octopus style guide, and an expert in the principles of writing for the web. I also have experience managing user-centric web development projects, with Google Ads, SEO, and email marketing. You'll often hear me bang on about making the web more accessible, so people of all backgrounds and abilities can use it. With over 20 years experience in account management, digital, marketing, and comms, I’m organised, efficient, diplomatic, and proactive.
