About Teija Wester

Hey there! I'm Teija Wester, born and raised in Närpes, a cozy little town on Finland’s west coast. After spending 17 years living and working across Sweden and Norway — including a decade in Gothenburg — I returned to Finland in December 2019, bringing with me a suitcase full of experiences and a heart full of Nordic spirit. My career journey has been anything but linear, and I love it that way. I’ve worked in sales, retail, support, consulting, and education & training—each role giving me new perspectives and sharpening my passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. What drives me most is cultivating a people-first culture where integrity, curiosity, and collaboration thrive. I believe that when people feel seen, heard, and empowered, great things happen—for teams and for customers. I’m a lifelong learner. I get energy from exploring the interaction of people, technology, and the circular economy—areas that align with my values of sustainability, innovation, and progress. As a generalist, I enjoy wearing many hats and finding creative ways to bring ideas to life. My current challenge involves gaining in-depth knowledge of Refuse Collection Vehicles and creating end-user documentation. At the same time, our team have implemented a new Component Content Management System (CCMS) to enhance the efficiency and quality of our documentation.
