Leveraging my broad-based business acumen and business administration- and economics backgrounds have provided me with a pragmatic, hands-on – and proven approach to helping companies shaping corporate strategies and achieving superior business performance. Driven by my curios and exploring nature, my leadership career spans 20+ years of experience from start-up companies in high-tech and deep-tech industries, financial services- to large and global companies operating in various sectors of the oil & gas and shipping & logistics industries. Drivers of business performance and the elements of superior and competitive business models are often not well understood as they are cross-functional, multi-dimensional, and mutually dependent. Still, performance is often addressed one parameter at the time. Applying my astute conceptual thinking skills and holistic approach to analyzing and diagnosing fundamental drivers of business performance has become the pivot for my career, leading to an extensive executive track record in instigating, shaping and executing large scale business performance programs resulting in significant value generation and lasting business impact. Challenges motivate me and the stamina to follow through until set objectives have been achieved denominates both my professional- and former sports careers. I thrive conducting problem solving in complex and ambiguous business circumstances, finding and articulating bold, pragmatic and innovative solutions. My leadership style is open, no-nonsense and frank, and decision-making is involving, conscious and solid. The ability to release the potential of other people is a distinctive feature of my career- also as sparring releases my own potential.
