Favorite Proverb:"It's not DNS. There's no way it's DNS. It was DNS." In my current role, I'm a Jack of All Trades, ensuring that systems and applications are highly available, reliable, and running like well-oiled (physical and virtual) machines. I work with many components of the infrastructure stack, everything from physical server/storage hardware to operating systems and applications. On a day-to-day basis, I work closely with VMware offerings, PowerShell, Office 365, and Azure AD/Entra ID, just to name a few. Every day's filled with new challenges and learning opportunities, which keep things fresh and fuel my constant desire to learn and improve. Currently, I'm expanding my skill set to learn more about the public cloud, specifically AWS and Azure. I'm excited to learn more about the vast offerings of the cloud and see how they can help an organization achieve its business goals. I'm learning how to use automation tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage infrastructure and systems more efficiently and in a more repeatable manner.
