About Teja Zeribi

Teja (she/her) is a current sophomore at Northeastern University majoring in molecular and cellular biology on the premed track with interests in public health, genetic counseling, and genomic research, with a minor in medical Spanish. She is passionate about social justice and fighting for equity. At NEU, she is involved in several organizations, including NEU united in fighting inequities and disease (secretary), choir, and the peer tutoring (peer tutor of the month, over 100 hours tutored, primarily Calculus and physics). She is a research assistant at the affective and brain sciences lab, and is co-author for posters for SANS 2024 and RISE 2024. She works full time as a PCA on the medical floor of Brigham and Women’s, where she works with a diverse patient population. She has an interest in FND and other neuropsychiatric conditions and was featured in the book “FND stories, patient and provider experiences” and this summer will be assisting Dr. Jon Stone in his FND research in the UK. She also is a facilitator for the FND Hope young adult FND support group that meets biweekly. She let an FND training to medical staff at Brigham and women’s. In her free time, she can be found writing music, spending time with friends, and going for runs.
