My professional journey has been an odyssey across the variegated landscapes of Indian industry— that transcended the mere mechanics of HR, and instead became chronicles of transformation, negotiation, and human endeavour- Corporate Canvas I commenced my voyage as a Talent Acquisition Partner at ABG Shipyard, orchestrating leadership and CXO hiring while simultaneously donning the mantle of Senior Manager HRBP across its Hydrocarbon business. From steering a Long-Term Settlement (2015) with trade unions—an exercise in balancing enterprise imperatives with workforce aspirations—to overseeing the hire-to-retire lifecycle for 1,200+ employees in a unionized ecosystem, the challenges were formidable, yet fulfilling. I pioneered DET/GET pipelines for sustainable talent and lent impetus to OD, change management, and cultural metamorphosis. At Tata Steel, I led the talent agenda across four business units, expediting 50+ strategic hires under unforgiving deadlines, institutionalizing performance management systems, and ensuring compliance rigour. Venturing next into the dynamic domain of a startup in intralogistics and automation, I had the privilege of architecting the HR function ab initio—establishing frameworks, leading recruitment for 100+ mandates annually, elevating employer branding, and aligning people practices with audacious business growth trajectories- Projects & Assignments DasVita (Agri-Tech Startup): Conceptualized and built an equity-based workforce architecture. Godrej Industries: Designed a PDP for HiPOs & successors. SAP India: Crafted the “Best Buddy” onboarding model & wellness benchmarking. RPG Life Sciences: Conducted recruitment perception & benefits benchmarking. Mukand Steel: Drove an employee satisfaction survey with 120+ participants- Thought Leadership & Recognitions I have been humbled to serve as Chief Panellist and Guest of Honour at multiple academic–industry interfaces: from deliberating on engineering pedagogy reforms with a Vice Chancellor, to addressing the evolving conundrums of Gen Z engagement, AI in hiring, and talent development in academia. In recognition of my endeavours, I was conferred the Visionary HR Award at the HR Leadership Summit by IIBHM & MET BKC—an accolade I cherish not for the trophy, but for the testimony it represents.
