About Tejasvee Upadhya

As an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain professional, I have developed expertise in various areas including Outbound, Reverse Logistics, Inventory & Quality Management, Warehouse Management, Distribution and Procurement. With over 10+ years of experience in the industry, I have gained hands-on experience in managing complex logistics operations across various industries including Food, Non-Food, Consumer, Pharmaceutical, Retail and MED/MCD. Currently working as a Associate Distribution Manager for Logistics and Supply Chain at Al Khayyat Investments (AKI)- Alphamed General Trading LLC since September 2020, I have been able to work on a variety of roles and responsibilities within the organization. In my current role as an Outbound Supervisor, I am responsible for managing food and non-food picks with a capacity of 30K picks per day and approximately 580+ orders with a 12-hour turnaround time. With my expertise, I have been able to maintain 98% QC accuracy and consistently conduct brainstorming sessions with my team to improve picking and QC efficiency. I also ensure location hygiene along with random stock checking, better utilization of available resources, and cost control. Moreover, I make sure that all standard operating procedures (SOP) are followed with no deviation. As an Inventory & Quality Supervisor, I was responsible for ensuring the training and development of the team and providing them with proper guidance for material handling. I improved the accuracy of stocks and managed stock takes with proper preparation. Additionally, I maintained the physical condition of the warehouse by space planning and implementing layouts, inspection of equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement. Throughout my journey, I have developed strong leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive environment. I am a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, which has enabled me to identify opportunities for improvement and take corrective action accordingly.
