About Tejaswi S.

I specialize in analyzing how spacecraft interact with charged plasma environments—ensuring mission safety and design resilience across LEO, GEO, solar wind, and magnetospheric regions. My work focuses on modeling spacecraft charging, plume-plasma interactions, and charge mitigation strategies using numerical simulations. I’ve developed and validated advanced SPIS models for exciting concepts like electrostatic maneuvering via electron guns—supporting contactless operations for spacecraft servicing and proximity missions. Previously, during my PhD at the University of Sydney, I investigated the influence of electric thrusters on spacecraft charging in diverse space environments. I’ve consistently bridged theoretical models with simulation insights to guide safer, more reliable spacecraft designs.🧩 Core Strengths:Spacecraft charging analysis across varying plasma regimes with and without electric thrustersSPIS modeling and theoretical validationElectron gun simulations, plume interactions, electrostatic force estimationDeep understanding of space weather effects on satellite systemsI’m driven by a passion for enabling robust, next-generation space missions through high-fidelity modeling and system-level insights.
