Temitope is a data and backend engineer with over ten years of experience in software development, data analysis, and data warehousing. He holds a master's degree in data modeling and database administration from the University of Central Lancashire and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Caleb University Lagos.Currently, he works at Sootchy, a technology-driven platform dedicated to eliminating student debt in the U.S. by leveraging AI-enhanced financial planning, community support, and tax-efficient incentives to remove the need for student loans. In his role, he plays a key part in building and optimizing data pipelines, backend systems, and integrations that support Sootchy’s mission.Previously, Temitope worked at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he supervised and executed the design and deployment of ETL/data pipelines using specialized tools such as Apache NiFi, Kafka, and Spark. He also integrated payment channels with the core banking application and developed reporting solutions. Before that, he was an application developer at the same institution and a software professional at Inlaks Nigeria, where he developed and supported bespoke applications around the Temenos (T24) Core Banking application. Additionally, he played a key role in optimizing an award-winning automatic accounts reconciliation system (CLIREC) at Precise Financial Systems Limited.Temitope is a versatile and professional software developer who continuously strives to improve and optimize existing systems. He has a strong technical background in agile systems development, data classification, and automated decision-making, with a keen interest in applying his skills to solve complex challenges. He is ITIL certified and proficient in.NET Core, Java, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, and other data-related technologies.
