About Temperance Johnson

I am a Licensed Psychologist (TX providing individual therapy to young children, families, adolescents, and adults. I have experience in treating a variety of issues to include: anxiety, attachment, dissociation, parenting, self-esteem, mood disorders, trauma/ptsd, chronic pain, and career/life transition. I am EMDR board certified and an Approved Consultant. I have experience in the schools and in private practice conducting psychological and autism evaluations. Beyond evaluations, I also have a passion for consultation, professional development, and parent training. I love the brain (we all have one!), relationships, and studying our connections. One of my favorite topics to read about is interpersonal neurobiology, attachment, somatic experiencing, and complex trauma therapy. I provide trainings on connective parenting and autism. In addition, I own WellMind, a group private practice specializing in collaborative behavioral healthcare using psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and neurofeedback services. We have a dynamic and professional team and are looking to hire clinical and administrative staff this year! During my postdoctoral residency, my focus was on psychological assessment, trauma, depression, and anxiety related disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. I find trauma practice rewarding because of its profound changes in each individual who thought there was no way out.
