I am at my best when helping others, either individually or at scale through the power of data analysis and targeted process improvement. Finding the root cause of a defect or the trends revealed through population health data fills me with optimism and excitement. I have so much fun with project management and quality improvement that they do not feel like work. I am tenacious and stimulated by challenges. I succeed working independently but am also energized as part of a team. I am known as a voracious learner, seeking to know and understand facts, processes, tools, and how things interact within systems. I am grateful to have led several high-performing clinical teams during my career. I invest energy in developing direct reports through assessing their individual role or career goals and collaborating on completing professional objectives. I am a promoter with a collaborative, positive leadership style. My love for knowledge is contagious; I have received a great deal of feedback about being a good teacher with a knack for conveying complex thins they are easy to understand. One of my most useful skills in a leadership role has been creating decision trees and process flows to encapsulate multi-page job aids into a simple chart.
