Background

About Teresa Glas

After a long and exciting period of study, during which I had the privilege of travelling a lot and setting a professional direction with various traineeships and job experiences, I am very happy to now focus my energy and creativity on my position at AWO Mittelfranken-Süd, one of the most important social players in my home region. I did my Bachelor's at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (programme: German and English Language and Literature). As part of my degree, I successfully applied for the Erasmus Programme, which made it possible for me to spend one year at the University of Kent in the UK. After obtaining my Bachelor's degree, I gained some work experience at the library of the Goethe-Institut (German association abroad) Chile. Having graduated from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt, where I was studying the Master's programme Specialized Translation with Media Translation, I was putting what I had learned into practice as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission. Throughout my Master's programme, I was fortunate to have an exciting and rewarding job as a working student in PR at Medical Valley EMN, a German medical technology cluster. Thanks to this job, I now know that I feel very comfortable and fulfilled, but also challenged in a good way in the field of Communications.
