About Teresa Mutahi

I am a 41 year old woman with four children. I was born in Sweden, but have lived most of my life in Finland. Finnish is my mother tongue but I speak fluent Swedish as a second language. I have been working with different things in my life, started as a cashier when I was young, worked in an insurance company for a while and volunteered as youth coordinator (peer educator) with the youths in Oulu, was part of the European group that traveled to Portugal for Youth camp. All this until I started my studies for IT. I went to a Business School in Northern Finland and continued then to IT Business Administration in Oulu University of Applied Science. After the studies I worked as a first-line support in Nokia, QPR Software (software specialist) and later on in Fujitsu. We moved to Sweden in 2009 and have worked here as a consultant for first line and second line support. The most recent work was in Fujitsu, until I decided to study a new profession -> Professional truck driving. Summer 2015 was my first time to drive a lorry again, after taking the C-license in 2013. I worked in Postnord as a professional truck driver. After being jobless for a month a so, I got a chance to do another course/education - machinist! Wow! I thought it was an awesome opportunity and I took it! And now I am a ready machinist, I can drive excavators and wheel loaders!
