About Teri Brezner

Teri is a healing centered Facilitator, Coach, and Network Weaver with over 15 years of experience in creating and facilitating equity-centered leadership and organizational development programs for social impact leaders around the globe. She specializes in developing high-trust networks, designing collaborative, decolonized learning spaces, and supporting intercultural partnerships to drive change across diverse communities. Teri's work spans 15+ countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, and SouthEast Asia, where she has helped build strong networks and community-led initiatives that advance social justice, equity, and environmental sustainability. She works at the intersection of leadership development, program design, and systems change, always with a focus on fostering belonging and shared power. As a mission-driven leader, Teri takes a facilitative approach, guiding teams to build collective leadership while integrating trauma-informed practices, emergent strategy and participatory approaches. She is passionate about helping organizations and leaders develop solutions that address systemic inequities and empower communities to drive their own change. In addition to her experience as a coach and facilitator, she have led cross-sector partnerships, developed training programs, and managed teams to drive social innovation. She is proficient in design thinking, systems thinking, and participatory facilitation, and she leverages data and decentralized digital tools to enhance the impact of learning programs and network-building initiatives. Teri is shaped by being a first-generation Guyanese-Canadian and naturalized American who grew up in a big family and lived in Toronto, Montreal and upstate NY for different periods of time. She called Washington, DC home for more than a decade before moving back to Canada where she is now based. When she's not working on social change, she spends her free time getting outdoors, exploring the world through the eyes of her kiddo, collecting books she will someday read, listening to podcasts about the future of work and exploring food, culture and community through deep conversations with friends and strangers.
