Tero Halmari has over 30 years working experience in banking, investment, financial management and board memberships. He has worked as a banker for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), COO for two London AIM-listed investment management companies and as an advisor to a Bulgarian group, all of which were active in infrastructure, property and retail. Additionally, Tero has been CFO, treasurer and legal director of electronics retail companies operating in Bulgaria and Romania. He also is a board member of Bulgarian property companies owned by the State General Reserve Fund, Oman. Prior to joining Ekogrid as a financial advisor he worked as a consultant in co-financing and later in private equity side for the African Development Bank “AfDB”.
