With an appreciation of all facets of home building, I am able to understand the entire construction process, where each material comes from and how each one is fabricated. I help my clients and other designers feel secure throughout the decision-making process by helping them envision the future space. I put together a visual picture for them before construction ever begins. I approach my design work with an innate understanding and appreciation for how my clients would like to interact with their environments. Through application of color, integration of textures and accessories, and use of unique materials (such as semi-precious stone), I work with my clients to create a mood and atmosphere that fit their personalities. In addition to my design experience, I also specialize in custom furniture and cabinetry. In doing so, I have created my own kitchen and millwork collection. Each piece is personally designed from the carving to the finishes. Then, the work is fabricated in-house by our own craftsman. My goal is to make a design process not only fun and exciting but also easy and effortless. With relationships that have been developed around the world, I am able to procure hard-to-find, exquisite materials for my clients (as well as other designers in which I work with).
