I institute and lead strategic outreach efforts to expand and develop apprenticeship programs to create apprenticeship pathways for women, able-disabled, ex-offenders, veterans, and other undeserved populations; Maintain a thorough and up-to-date apprenticeship marketing materials in electronic and print media; Review, update and revise Apprenticeship Information Guides. I develop and administer the creation, review, processing and maintenance of new and revised program standards. I am responsible for managing the registration of apprentices into an approved apprenticeship program; Monitor and audit the efficacy and compliance of apprenticeship programs and administering grants for the support of these programs. I oversee outreach with Workforce Investment Boards (WIBs) with emphasis on how the various apprenticeship funding, e.g, California Workforce Development Board impact California apprenticeship programs; Provide consultative services to apprenticeship program sponsors, employers, employee organizations, and education providers.
