With over 16 years of work experience in various administrative and customer service roles, I have developed a strong set of skills and competencies in payroll processing and management, office administration, and accounting. My mission is to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time, and that payroll taxes and reports are done correctly and in compliance with the law. I am currently working as a Payroll Manager at E. G. Middleton Inc, a leading construction company that specializes in commercial and industrial projects. As a Payroll Manager, I am responsible for completing new hire and termination reports, processing weekly payroll for union and non-union employees, compiling and entering employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets, and issuing and recording adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases. I also keep track of garnishments, liens, child support, vacations, personal and sick leave for employees, process employers taxes weekly, quarterly, and annually, complete weekly certified payroll and monthly utilization reports, reconcile, calculate and remit monthly union fringe reports, and answer employee questions related to payroll and resolve issues. I use payroll software and office administration skills to perform these tasks efficiently and accurately. I have also earned the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and the Accounts Payable Specialist Certification (APS) to demonstrate my knowledge and expertise in payroll and accounting.
