About Terri Fox

Terri Fox is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with over 30 years of experience in working with all types of nutrition related issues. Terri has written articles and is a contributing author to Northwest Health Magazine. She has been active in volunteer service, including fundraiser and medical staff at diabetes kids camp (Camp LEO). With strong communication skills she has developed and led diabetes supports groups, taught renal,diabetes, cardiac and cancer care classes on nutrition to patient and medical staff and has been a speaker for many groups including the American Diabetes Association, Lion's clubs, and the Masonic lodge. Terri enjoys working with patients and their medical providers to make improvements in their health and has recently launched her private practice,"Sound Nutrition Dynamics". She believes that healthy eating is a skill, and has an encouraging spirit in her counseling style. This year as president of Washington State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and past president of the local affiliate, Terri is honing her leadership skills. She is a passionate advocate for her field and for the future of the dietetics profession.
