About Terri Pyle
I am an online adjunct professor of Humanities in the Philosophy Department at UCF, English Faculty at ECPI, and substitute English Teacher at Hampton Roads Academy. I received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Central Florida and became TEFL Certified from the TESOL International Language Teacher Training Centre in Corinth, Greece; I taught three years as an ESL instructor in Turkey. I recently defended and passed my dissertation (October 2024) for my Ph.D. in Philosophy of the Visual Arts, Aesthetics, and Art Theory from the Institute of Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts based in Portland, Maine, and I officially graduated with PhD degree on April 27, 2025. Simultaneously, I have been a freelance writer and worked in art, luxury, and membership sales, as well as the hospitality industry, to make all of the aforementioned happen! My continuing goal is to foster intellectualism, personal growth, and community in academic environments.
