About Terron Sims

Terron Sims, II is a combat veteran, businessman, political leader, and a proud graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. With over three decades of professional experience in the US Army, Department of Defense (DoD), and throughout the federal government, Mr. Sims is national security subject matter expert whom both military, political, and business leaders rely upon. Mr. Sims deployed to Iraq for fifteen months in 2003, where he established and mentored the government of Baghdad’s Tisa Nissan District, serving as the primary liaison to the Coalition Provisional Authority, the United Nations, Baghdad City Hall, and Iraq’s federal government. Mr. Sims’ final Army assignment as the Deputy Chief-of-Training for the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) and Fort Polk was designing and leading the pre-development of a $29 Million dollar real-world training / fighting village. Mr. Sims, coordinating with Joint Staff, supported Army Current Operations – tasking the Army’s major commands in support of our nation’s combat operations in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Africa, Latin America, and various overseas and US operations. He then supported the Assistant Chief-of-Staff of the Army for Installation Management (ACSIM), developing and managing the system that streamlines the Army’s installation requirements budget validation process. Lastly, Mr. Sims developed DoD’s Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID). As a national security subject matter expert, Mr. Sims has been one of the primary policy writers and advisors for US Presidential candidates since 2008. In 2013, Mr. Sims wrote the Veterans Services and National Security Policy Platforms for the (UK) Labour Party. He has worked with the US Congress and state government leaders in getting legislation written, passed, and appropriated. Mr. Sims’ expertise has led him to establishing longstanding relationships throughout The US Congress, DoD, The Dept of the Army, The Dept of Veterans Affairs, The State Dept, and other federal and state departments and agencies, which has positioned him in working directly with Presidential Senior Advisors and Presidential Appointees in crafting and implementing international deals and defense and veterans policy.
