About Terry Davis

Groomed by a small town in the middle of nowhere in South Carolina, I have learned valuable lessons in life. Learning to be patient, how to absorb the intangible items and build from nothing, has created the person I am today. While observing the children from the community service of Saturday morning basketball, it taught me how to become patient, how to become a vocal leader, and it also taught me how to observe the actions of others. Applying these very specific skills to any job would only inspire others to become active leaders. I have training for multiple distribution centers from retail store to online places like Amazon. Working and learning from corporations like these have shown me that excellence doesn’t happen overnight. The best experience as a learner was going through the warehouses of Amazon and understanding that time is great, quality should be better, but the focus is strictly on the customer. With the combination of marketing and computer science, this has taught me that everything you see online, may not be the best option. The exposure to marketing tactics has expanded my theory on doing more research for anything that’s web-based. With the combination of marketing tactics and computer science, this makes the online experience more customizable for everyone. Integrity is a key component in every job. This was great when I had the opportunity to work for some corporations like Amazon because it showed me that everything was the employees choice. Tons of merchandise, but honest workers. The best place for exposure to me would be Dollar General. Not because it was the best pay or the best job, but I got to see first-hand about different personalities. I have even had the opportunity to learn how to deal with customer complaints and challenging task while working for Wells Fargo.Just a little about me…
