About Terry Durst

As an accountant, I have continually performed various accounting activities and related reporting functions including grant accounting, compliance matters and related duties with major responsibilities including: maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare and post journal entries; prepare schedules, reports, and financial statements; assist with year-end audits; research projects as needed by department; provide guidance to department personnel as needed; and cross-train to assist department personnel with timely completion of required duties. Additionally, as nonprofit executive director of Lion's H.O.P.E. Martial Arts Studio, I have focused on teaching women, elderly, and people with disabilities how to defend themselves from physical attack. More than 12 years martial arts training, as well as other associated education, has provided me with the skills to defend myself and others, as well as teach everyone else how to do the same.
