About Terry Higashi

I've been in architecture and construction industries for nearly 40 years. In that time, I have worked for several architectural firms with a break of 12 years working for construction companies as an in-house architect. I also had my own firm for 5 years in early 90's. The projects I did vary from the concrete tilt-ups of the 70's and 80's to environmentally friendly high rise corporate buildings of today. Types of projects include micro-electronics and high-tech, bio-tech's, including cGMP, medical devices, corporate offices (shells and T.I.'s), Data Centers, Chain Retail buildings, and education, to name a few. My goal is, and always has been, is to provide the client with the satisfied product. I am a firm believer in giving the client the services the project desrves, even if it means going beyond the contractural service agreement. I believe in taking that extra step. Specialties: I take pride in preparing the best possible construction documents. Having worked for two General Contractors, I have a good sense of what the contractors are looking for. A good set of construction documents save money and time for everyone. Constructability is essential. Therefore, my expertise is in construction administration. It is the most rewarding part and I do my best to satisfy the interest of the client.
