Terry' is not a nickname. Until I open my mouth, I look like a run-of-the-mill, face-in-the-crowd Japanese national; however, English is more my native tongue than Japanese, which is my official native language merely by virtue of my nationality. Case in point: I shake my head sideways in response to negative questions - in both languages - to the persistent ire of my wife and confusion of those around me. • Operations Engineering: handling customer support ticket escalations, as well as management and troubleshooting of servers and other devices in the production environment • Customer Support Engineering: B2B communications ownership in English and Japanese via both email and phone calls, as well as the advanced troubleshooting necessary to identify the cause of, and solution to, the customer's problem statement • Graduate of Sophia University, majoring in International Business and Economics Major at the Faculty of Liberal Arts • Multicultural experience in Japan and abroad • Advanced experience with computers, including operating systems and applications frequently used in business • Fluent in native English (American) and Japanese; ability to translate and interpret between the two languages in a variety of settings • Able to quickly learn and master new technologies and concepts via both autodidactic and academic methods • Attended high school in the United States; middle and elementary school at international schools in Yamate in Yokohama
