I value creating a welcoming and engaging Children’s services department – introducing Early Learning Centers- creating the children's room as a destination increasing visitations exponentially. I seek collaboration with professionals in the community to create new and innovative programs. As an experienced grant writer, I have been awarded local, state and national grants that increased program resources and budgets. Promote services through social media. Lead in developing, implementing, and evaluating overall youth services, that educate, inform, and inspire. Doubled the number of programs from 200 to 400, ranking third out of 37 Westchester Library system statistics, for most presented children’s programs. Enjoy research and embrace current trends in youth services. Contribute and engage in strategic planning, mentor 4 professional librarians and 3 paraprofessionals to achieve their professional goals and contribute to creating a positive, engaging work environment.
