Throughout my career, I have developed excellent problem-solving skills and proven myself in fast-paced, strenuous situations. In addition, I have demonstrated that I am dedicated, hardworking, and devoted to any organization I represent and believe in the importance of continuous education and lifelong learning. I am the Provincial Health Operations & Recovery Specialist for Shared Health, Manitoba. In this role, I am responsible for responding and planning for all provincial emergencies with a health aspect; this includes but is not limited to wildfires and evacuations, floods, power outages, mass casualty incidents, technological emergencies, high media interest events, and unforeseen emergencies. In addition, to my provincial role, I am a part of the unified government and health incident management structure which is leading the response to COVID-19 in Manitoba. As an Incident Director for COVID19, I collaborate with senior executives and directors to support and manage objectives, planning strategies and implementing tactics. This global pandemic has provided me with a foundation of knowledge and learnings that can be carried over to any organization. Adding to the complexities of the pandemic during the 2021 historic wildfire season, I led and facilitated health activities relating to evacuees and ensured that all had ongoing access to health services and that proper protocols were in place concerning COVID-19.
