MAJOR PROJECTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS Operational excellence focussed improvement initiative with planning and scheduling operational shut downs resulting in increases efficiency and effectiveness. The structured approach has resulted in repeatable maintenance outcomes such as DIFOT (Delivered in Full, on time) and in Spec while increasing Health and Safety performance and reducing execution costs during the shutdowns Implemented a proven performance based refrigeration service contract across multiple sites increasing operational reliability and decreasing reactive costs Responsible for increasing plant reliability from 86.56% to 91.2% between 2003 and 2004 which was recognised as the “Most Improved Reliability” site by Fonterra Using the tools of manufacturing excellence programmes, the Maintenance Department increased its 5 stage TRACC practices maturity from “no best practice” to “ownership and improvement” over a 3 year period Undertook a major re-organisation of the Maintenance Department and recruited shortfall including execution and technical support staff Reduced outsourced maintenance requirements where appropriate. Provided business leadership and direction to the CMMS replacement project, ensuring organizational buy-in and support for the resulting changes – SAP R/3 ECC6 Enhancement Pack 4.
