About Terry Tull

I have over 25 years’ experience working in the IT industry and over 10 years’ experience working on transformation, migration and upgrade projects, in several business sectors and of values between £120K to £25 million. I can provide the advice and guidance needed early in the project, through to the design phase, and on to leading the implementation teams on the execution phase. Working at the CTO or Enterprise level, I can identify the framework, the considerations and the building blocks needed during project inception, ensuring requirements such as Business Continuity and Compliance are not forgotten. Within a project I have had many roles such as PM, Team Manager and sat on the project board on behalf of the business or the supplier. I am a problem solver, studying Industrial Design at undergraduate level and then teaching in secondary schools for several years before moving across to IT. Therefore, I have excellent written and verbal presentation skills, and I am used to presenting at Board level. I am TOGAF, PRINCE II and ITIL certified as well as holding certification from Apple and Microsoft. I have written and responded to RFI’s and RFP’s, working for several years in pre-sales roles. I currently hold SC clearance, which was renewed early in 2016. Having worked recently for cloud and managed service providers, I am experienced with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS in both the public and private cloud space, particularly with Office 365, Azure and AWS. In several organisations, I have worked closely with development teams and on more than one occasion designed a structure to enable smooth deployment from Development through Test, Staging and onto the Production environments. Working with Aviation and Defence companies I have a good understanding of security and the designs that ensure compliance including DSS-PCI. I am passionate about "Good" IT and ensuring the best outcomes for the business.
