About Terry Wilmeth

Terry Wilmeth is the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of RP Advanced Mobile Systems. Terry is a USAF service disabled veteran having specialized in weapons control and avionics. Terry is the recipient of the Secretary of the Department of Transportation Gold Medal Award for Innovative Technologies. Terry holds current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates and has over 35+ years aviation experience to include heavy lift loadmaster. Beyond his military service, he served as a technician and airborne specialist assigned to U.S. Army Strategic Defense Command, Kwajalein Missile Test Range (SDI-‘Star Wars’). Under RP Advanced, Terry has combined his cross-over experiences to develop and deploy multiple variants of emergency resources vehicles for US Special Forces, Law Enforcement, REM/firefighter, disaster response and in support of partner nations light mobility needs. RP Advanced is a leader in innovative multi-modal capabilities for today's mobilized military, first responder, emergency manager and law enforcement assets conducting critical success missions. In addition to developing light tactical vehicles and watercraft systems, Terry designed an all-new ultra-lightweight ballistic armor shield that can defeat multiple rifle rounds (UL752), is modular, weighs 6 pounds in standard form- all to enable first responders and SROs to finally have effective protection while being fast and maneuverable.
