About Tess Campbell
As a recent graduate of a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University, I've come to live my life inspired by influential authors. As Margaret Atwood once said,"a word after a word after a word is power". This quote resonates with me as it shows that words are incredibly influential and should be used to enact change. I try to provide positivity and change the world for the better through the words I use. I've been able to apply this philosophy to my activities and roles. As a Teaching Assistant, I was able to encourage students' love of literature and help them develop their writing and speaking skills. My experience in retail has allowed me to develop my customer service, problem solving, and speaking skills as I've helped families and individuals find the products to help them succeed in their sport. My true passion is to use my writing skills like Atwood would have wanted; I want to inspire the world for the better. When I am not at work, I fill my time reading several books a week. I love mystery/thriller novels that leave me guessing until the end.
