I'm an early-career psychologist and founder of Well Creative Minds (WCM), a national award-winning provider of psychosocial disability support and mental health-focused services. As founder and director, my role has been to keep the business vision alive, ensuring the purpose and values of WCM are maintained and cultivated through operations, team management, and service delivery. I'm very proud of growing this business from the ground up and humbled by its positive impact on the community.As a psychologist, I am passionate about creating authentic connections and offering a safe space for reflection, expression, and healing. I have been an observer since I was young. I approach my work with empathy, compassion, and an open curiosity as I seek to understand my clients' stories and the unique experiences that have shaped them. My experience has predominantly been in private practice and community mental health, working with adults, young people, and families. Background:At 20 years old, I launched my first business as a remedial massage therapist after gaining an advanced diploma in remedial massage. In my early 20s, I developed my love for writing and began blogging about wellness, self-development & business topics, attracting a different clientele. After earning a bachelor's degree in business (majoring in marketing), I launched a digital marketing and freelance writing business and created online courses. Some of my work has been featured in international online publications, including the Huffington Post. I then found myself working in administration for several psychology practices. I soon realised this was what I wanted to pursue, and I gained experience as a youth mentor volunteer in a local high school before discovering psychosocial disability support.In 2020, I founded WCM (initially to share my passion for writing, creativity and mental health) while studying psychology and working as an independent psychosocial disability support worker. In 2022, I established a team and the foundations from which WCM grew into what it is today. My achievements were made possible by empowering the core team and outsourcing professional support services to help me manage the business. This allowed me to focus on completing my internship between May 2022 and December 2024 and gaining complete registration as a psychologist by January 2025.WCM is currently in the planning stages of expanding service offerings & is open to collaborative opportunities.
