About Tess Rutherford

I am a passionate and hard working student at Indiana University. I am currently pursuing a double major in finance and accounting. My studious personality allows me to thrive in a classroom setting. I pride myself on consistently being on top of my classes whether they are academic or artistic. This was especially true in high school as I balanced a wide range of academic and musical extracurriculars. As academically driven as I am, I also find time for balancing activities. I am currently a part of Singing Hoosiers as well as Phi Mu social sorority. Both of these functions allow me to express myself and succeed in other ways than the classroom can offer. Ultimately, I am here to learn more about my major as well as myself. College has offered me the opportunity to explore more about myself and what I want in life. While still attending undergraduate school, I hope to perfect my interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with internships, international studies, and various other learning opportunities.
