I am a passionate Director of Therapeutic Recreation with a focus on senior care and dementia. With many years of experience in the healthcare industry, I have dedicated my career to improving the quality of life for seniors through recreational programming and creative interventions. My love for this field began during my high school years when I worked as a PCA at a local nursing home. The joy and fulfillment I saw on the faces of the residents during therapeutic recreation programs sparked a fire in me to pursue a career in this area. As a Director of Therapeutic Recreation, I have had the opportunity to create and implement various programs and events that cater to the specific needs of seniors, including those with dementia. It brings me great satisfaction to see the positive impact these activities have on their well-being and overall happiness. In addition to my professional experience, I am also attending college full time, pursuing a degree in healthcare administration with a goal of becoming a nursing home administrator.
