I am a film festival researcher, Lecturer in Film and sessional academic. My research focuses on investigating how international film festivals can support the careers of emerging women filmmakers. I also research transnational and diasporic cinema, cinema and memory, and the challenges of distribution and exhibition for local filmmakers in Queensland.
